In a typical pub somewhere in Saxony, the regulars’ table gathers: Nutcracker, Angel, Harlequin, Miner and Fir—five traditional woodcarving figures from the Ore Mountains.

In three 90-second short films, they get right to the point. In a direct, humorous, and at times biting manner, they tackle pressing issues of our time: climate change, migration, and mandatory fees. Topics that are explosive and polarizing - but they can never break up our group, because at the end of every regulars’ table evening, the motto is: “The last word hasn’t been spoken yet!”
