ROBBO AND LINA is the pilot episode for a dance-themed bedtime story series for children. The focus is on movement - especially dance in all its forms, from ballet and street dance to fun freestyle moves.
In each episode, the robot-like ROBBO and the graceful LINA experience short everyday stories. Their contrasts – big & small, hard & soft – create tension and complement each other at the same time. Triggered by objects or events, small conflicts arise that are portrayed and resolved through dance without any words. Human characteristics such as empathy, overcoming obstacles, self-confidence, and even schadenfreude are reflected in a way that is easy for children to understand. By copying each other's movements, Robbo and Lina get together in a creative and humorous way.
