How does the courage to stand up against a regime arise? This Animadoc film tells the story of three people caught between oppression and a longing for freedom in the GDR. In a dialogue with their own Stasi files, a sensitive but also idiosyncratic portrait of resistance emerges, which traces, reveals and questions the courage of rebellion to this day.
