In November, we eagerly awaited the 2025 International Emmy® Awards ceremony in New York.
Flights were booked, schedules were coordinated, and gala wear was purchased.

Monday, November 24, 2025 was the big day - he day of the Emmy® Gala in New York.
We kept our fingers crossed, and then the unbelievable happened: “On Fritzi´s Traces - What Was it Like in the GDR?” won the International Emmy® Award in the “Kids Factual” category. The award was presented to producer and director Ralf Kukula, co-director Andrea Gentsch, Anke Lindemann, Sabine Scheuring, and Christina Herßebroick from MDR, and presenter Julian Janssen.
