Due to lack of time, our Balance Film internal Christmas party was turned into a New Year's hike first and  then turned into a cultural event due to the bad weather forecast. So instead of hiking through forests and hills we walked through Dresden Castle last friday.  First museum was the Historic Green Vault  - of course not without insider stories from Ralf Kukula, who has been documenting the reconstruction of the castle and the Green Vault for many years. Round two of our cultural tour filled the afternoon with further exhibition rooms. The New Green Vault, Armoury, Turkish Chamber, Parade Rooms, Coin Cabinet - the full programme. And for some, here and there  was something new to explore about our beautiful city and its history - for example, where to find the thumbprint of Elector Augustus the Strong in Dresden.
