A short review of our matinée “On Fritzi's traces - What was it like in the GDR?” in April 2025 as part of the Dresden Film Festival. On a Sunday, we were able to present all 6 episodes of our animadoc series on the big screen. Director Andrea Gentsch and our protagonists Hartmut Rüffert and Regina Schild were present. Anna Shirin Habedank and Julian Janssen moderated the film talk. Thanks also to the support of the Saxon State Commissioner for the Reappraisal of the SED Dictatorship.

The evening before we had the honor of presenting the Golden Horseman award for the best animated film of the national competition to the short film DO SOMETHING by Sofija Živković. Congratulations once again from Balance Film!
