Sometimes we have to keep news behind the curtain, that we can show not only the shooting, but also the final result of the animation scene. This post actually belongs to June this year.
Because that's when we did a little test shoot for a web series with Julian Janssen aka Checker Julian and Anna Shirin Habedank. Our test episode is about the illegal printing and distribution of flyers, which the Stasi didn't like at all. Julian and Anna had contemporary witness Roland Brauckmann explain to them what it was like back then. Then they slipped into their MoCap suits and landed as animated characters in the cartoon world of "Fritzi and Sophie" in 1989.
